Phi-fi
(philosophy fiction) is Jong Bhak's label for philosophical speculation that
is kept separate from testable claims.
A phi-fi statement may be suggestive and may guide questions, but it is not evidence.
The premise that everything describable in the universe is information, and the picture of a timeless computational universe, are phi-fi.
Counterexample. A claim stated with a test that could count against it is not phi-fi, even when it is speculative.
Status. Label
for epistemic status.
