For Sake's Sake
- Jong Bhak
I coined the phrase "for sake's sake" to play on the idiomatic "for goodness' sake," and as a catchphrase.
It highlights the idea of valuing purpose or meaning intrinsically.
I use it to express a philosophy of "purpose orientation".
It emphasizes purpose as an end in itself, purpose pursued for its own inherent value.
I think the universe is all purpose-driven aligns with philosophical views like self-assembling teleonomy.
I see purpose or goal-directedness as fundamental in nature due to the informational structure of the universe.
I propose existence is meaningful or intentional rather than random. Randomness is an algorithmic part of this
inherent purpose orientation.
For sake's sake signals dedication to purpose for its own sake.
