Evolutionary biology has accumulated many correct modules. Darwin and Wallace gave differential selection. Mendel and the Modern Synthesis formalized inheritance and population change. Neutral theory established stochastic persistence. Evo-devo and developmental plasticity exposed structured generation. Niche construction and gene-culture coevolution exposed reciprocal environmental reconstruction and multiple inheritance channels. Major-transitions theory explained changes in units of individuality and information transmission. Evolvability showed that the generator itself evolves. Cybernetics, anticipatory systems, predictive coding, and the Free Energy Principle formalized prediction and control. Covolution proposes to connect these modules into one recursive causal architecture in which retained outcomes reconstruct future generation and evaluation, while the coupling architecture linking those operations can itself be retained and reconstructed. Entelenomy names the endogenous directional contribution when retained future-relevant information changes what is generated, evaluated, or enacted next. Biosophy begins where description ends and asks which of the resulting futures ought to be built.
