Covolution is the coupled evolution of generative architecture, sorting processes, horons, and Symvironment.

Evolution cannot be reduced to selection alone. 

What is observed is sorting, while selection is one of several causal processes that can generate sorting. 

More fundamentally, what matters is the generative architecture that determines which variants are produced, which are accessible, and which can become stabilized. 

This architecture is itself continuously reconfigured by the genome, development, epigenetics, physical landscapes, regulatory computation, behaviour, and the Symvironment. 

Covolution is the recursive informational dynamics through which generative architecture, sorting processes, and the Symvironment continually reshape one another.
